Dear Families,
My name is Amanda Murphey and I am a cross-categorical Special Education teacher at Leclaire Elementary. I began teaching special education in District 7 in 2007 and became a Leclaire Leopard at Leclaire Elementary in 2012. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education in December 2006 at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. In 2014, I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Early Childhood Elementary Education.
I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with your child to make progress on educational objectives and help them achieve the goals as outlined on their Individual Education Program. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong desire to learn.
I hope you find this website informative and useful!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Amanda Murphey
